ParticipantHello,
Thanks for reporting again in case you still have errors caused by other conflicting files.Hi Silvan,
The usr/share/man/fr/man3/getspnam.3.gz files conflict remains 🙁March 28, 2023 at 8:30 pm in reply to: logout shutdown and reboot don’t work with deconnection screen activated #29087ouaille_aime_scier
ParticipantHi,
it’s not clear to me what you mean with “When I activate the deconnection screen in the configuration”, this is normally activated by default and when you try to logout, reboot, shutdown etc., for instance from the bottom buttons in the application launcher menu, this screen appears for confirmation. So, you simply mean that you can never normally logout, reboot or shutdown from Plasma ?Yes Silvan,
If I keep the default setting to have the logout confirmation screen the buttons to turn off or restart the machine or log out don’t work, but the other buttons work (standby, locking, changing user).
By deactivating the deconnection screen, all buttons are working fine.
Thanks.

ParticipantThanks Silvan,
I have installed the xorg-drv-video-nvidia package, removed the xorg-drv-video-nouveau one, the /usr/lib/modoprobe.d/nvidia.conf has effectively blacklisted nouveau driver.
I got black screen after booting and my Xorg.0.log shows segmentation fault with libc and nouveau/dri. I will post the file later.ouaille_aime_scier
ParticipantThanks Silvan, when reenabling i586 repo I don’t have see my initial problem again, it’s fixed.

ParticipantThanks for your quickly answer, I will test all of that this evening. For the installation, I use the diskimg-livecd but I will take the livecd-rolling instead.
