Hello Friends,
I want to try openmamba, so I downloaded the "openmamba diskimg-livecd rolling" x86-64 version from 2018-01-02. It boots on VMWare to a black desktop. I tried the "additional components", but I cannot install. What version should I use for the most up-to-date openmamba?

Hi,
this may be similar to a problem I've seen on VirtualBox related to the modeset driver.
I would suggest to try booting with the 'nomodeset' kernel argument. You may add this argument by editing the kernel command line in the livecd bootloader.
