Hi David, have you sure the copy is correctly downloaded?
You can test it using the follow command (if you have the iso file on the PC):
md5sum openmamba-livecd-it-milestone1-1.1.i586.iso
And to check that you've correctly burnt it: (assuming your CD/DVD reader is /dev/hda)
dd if=/dev/hda bs=2048 count=360036 | md5sum
in both case the result must be:
3cb4aa3893f85ca07dadba2235679f3e
thanks for th reply
done what you said and the md5sum was the same as you said
any other ideas
david
Hi,
can you please explain what you mean with "funny looking screen" when you boot with option 8? Isn't that a black screen with text messages on it as it is supposed to be?
hi silvan,
the screen has multi colored vertical lines on it as tho it hasnt picked up my graphics properly.
