Password-store (pass) is a password manager which follows the Unix philosophy: it keeps passwords inside gpg encrypted files organized in a simple directory tree, and uses git to optionally track and synchronize changes across machines.
Many distributions package this same project under the name "pass"; this package provides that capability under its upstream project name.
