Download Issues

Hi, I found this cool distro when it was alpha and I liked it. I really wanted the live gaming dvd, but everytime I download it, it says completed before it is actually finished. I have tried a dozen times. I get +200MB or more, I even got 2.18GB today, but it finished too early and is incomplete. What could be the issue? I try at school and at home = same result.

Hi, I’ve tried myself to download the ISO and it has worked. Maybe was a transient problem serverside. Anyway if want to make another try you can download it via wget (it permits to continue a interrupted download). Open a terminal window and digit this command:

wget http://www.openmamba.org/pub/openmamba/milestone2/media/livegames/en/openmamba-livegames-en-milestone2-2.0pre2.i586.iso

if the download interrupts before the end, you can continue it with this command:

wget -c http://www.openmamba.org/pub/openmamba/milestone2/media/livegames/en/openmamba-livegames-en-milestone2-2.0pre2.i586.iso
