PreparationThe ISO image file can be used in different ways:
- Traditionally ISO image file was intented to be burnt on a DVD medium using an appropriate tool and performing the operation
by writing the file as "disk image file"
- The ISO image file can also be used to start openmamba on a virtualization system (e.g. VirtualBox, VMWare)
- The ISO image file can altro be installed and prepared to boot from a USB storage drive providing storage data persistance
by using the "Install openmamba on a USB device" tool which is available from an openmamba desktop.

PreparationYou may use any operating system providing the

program to copy the image to a SD or microSD memory card:
- insert the memory card and identify the corresponding device then replace
/dev/sdx
with your real device path in the following command
- run the following command from a console window:
gunzip -c openmamba-diskimg-raspberrypi-*.img.gz | dd of=/dev/sdx bs=32M
It is possible to use other applications which support the preparation of microSD for Raspberry Pi but in this case you may need to uncompress the archive in gzip format first.

Images for Docker:
On openmamba page at Docker Hub you may find the official Docker images based on the rootfs-base archive for the x86_64, aarch64 and i586 architectures.
The following command will download the image, create a container and run a shell:
