praticamente l'accelerazione hardware è stata pian piano rimossa per vecchie schede da mesa > 7;
nel mio caso che ho una S3 savage, devo fermarmi all 8.
l'alternativa è no accelerazione o llvmpipe (un driver software che funziona male sulla mia savage) o bloccarsi a vecchie versioni di mesa (comunque con diversi limiti).
