Not just slow, it’s almost impossible :o(

I left in running all evening, then all night for less than 400 MB

A torrent or an upload to ‘rapidshare’ or similar is definitely needed

We are working on it, torrent links are being made available at:

      http://www.openmamba.org/distribution/download.html

We are working on making distributors available too, but this might be achieved more rapidly if enough users switch their downloads to torrents.

      Thank you for reporting.

      saw good speed on 3 wgets (200k/s .. 155k ..and.. 140-ish)

      from Torino

      to Canada

      Friday night of Aug.06

my cable modem regularly delivers 400+k/s when all factors in favour.

Calarco’s Torino hosts might have been busy at the time the complainant started hit direct http/ftp download.

More often, it is a factor between source host and destination.

Sometimes, the main problem sits between monitor and chair.

      lighten up.
